Amazing product, from home to LAx in the bed of a truck, from LAX to London the Dublin in the cargo hole. From Dublin in the belly of the bus for 3 day, then to Scotland in the cargo hole of the ferry onto tour bus for 6 more days in and out packed and repacked multiple times handled by many people, hands and equipment then back home to LAX in the belly of the plane…they survived, tossed and pushed, slid and rolled they survived. Amazing product…I need more, well worth the money!
I am currently travelling with my new Subterra 2 suitcase and I love it. It rolls and spins like a dream. I appreciate the thoughtful features such as the section that is accessible from the outside, and the grip handle on the bottom. It looks great and stands out among other cases (handy at the luggage carousel). I am very happy with my purchase!
I bought this carry on bag for a trip to Mexico. It held everything I needed for a 6 day trip. It is so light and the spinner wheels make all the difference!
I used this luggage for a two week trip thru the UK and was very pleased. The luggage material held up well and the wheels handled all manners of sidewalk, streets, tube rides, cobble alleys. The handle is beefy. The interior is nice and has a light colored material so you can find your stuff easier. Get it!!
Love my new Thule Subterra 2. I just used it on a recent multi-country European trip. As I had quite a diverse itinerary, I needed to pack a lot, and it all fitted well. Love the two compartments. I used my personal packing cubes together with the compression bag. It rolls nicely on the 4 wheels and it managed well on the two wheels on the European cobble streets.
After a decade with my old checked bag, I finally decided it was time for an upgrade. I browsed everything from basic budget options to high-end luxury brands and surprisingly stumbled on the Thule Subterra 2 while looking at camping gear. I didn’t even know Thule made luggage, but this one immediately caught my eye. The design is sleek, modern, and built with quality and function in mind. The materials feel durable, and the layout maximizes interior space with a few thoughtfully placed compartments. The wheels roll smooth and quietly, and the extendable handle is sturdy and stable with no wobbling like I’ve seen with some other well-known brands. I’ve taken it on two trips so far: a cross-country flight and a long-haul to Hawaii. Both trips were 10-14 days and fit a lot. Unfortunately, on the return leg from Hawaii, the bag suffered some noticeable exterior damage. I'm not sure what happened during baggage handling, but it looks like it got snagged or stabbed by something and there's some notable damage to the outer shell. My previous checked bag was also a softer shell but didnt have any outer damage after 10+ years of usage so I'm not sure if this is a one off issue that I encountered or if this is prone to happen to others. It is luggage so I expect some wear and tear over time but sad that it happened on only my 2nd trip but that's life. Despite this, I’m still impressed. It’s functional, stylish, and well designed.
I was a carry-on only person before I had a baby and recently decided to get a bigger luggage so I could consolidate my things with baby things for solo travel. I needed the extra space but didn't want one of those HUGE suitcases and this is the perfect size. I recently traveled by myself with baby which was a little scary since I had a good amount of gear with me but the way this bag handled made things super easy. It rolls like a dream! We'll be using it for a while
This is my 2nd Subterra check-in size bag. My first suitcase looks great after 3 years of use (4 cross country trips a year), so it was an easy decision when it came time to add another checked bag for a family trip. The bag is lightweight for it's size, the handle is sturdy and there's another bag grip on the bottom which is helpful when retrieving it off a luggage conveyor belt. This bag NEVER tips over. The wheels glide easily and you can tilt the bag if want to tow it on 2 wheels. ABSOLUTELY a great bag by every measure.
I am a pilot for a cargo airline and I have been searching for the right sized bag for my one week trips. Almost all bags on the market by other manufacturers are either a little too small (carry on size) or too big (checked bag size). This bag is marketed as checked bag size, but it is not excessively large like most other manufacturers. This bag has the perfect amount of space for a week’s worth of clothes, running shoes, bathroom bag, and a pillow. I check the bag in on airlines when traveling to and from work. The bag is holding up well to the airline baggage handlers. It feels solidly constructed with high quality materials and I expect it to last for many years. Definitely recommend!
Love this suitcase. The quality of the materials and the wheels is fantastic. Sleek and modern looking with innovative storage ideas. It fits more than you would think. My entire family now wants their own. Highly recommend.

Really well crafted product that gives us all the space and packing that we need. You can tell when you first pull this out of the packing how good of product it is and how well it has made.
